The mustache.

13 Dec

Today marks the day I notice the stash that I’ve been apparently growing. I’m on the verge of a nervous breakdown. How? After 23 years of blessed hairlessness…life somehow does this evil twist of fate and makes me grow hair in places I shouldn’t be growing. I come from a hairless family…my brothers can even barely grow their own mustaches. This is unbelievable. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know whether to take meds, wax it off and accept it as fate or cry myself to sleep. A real blow in the security department there. Not sure while doing fertility treatments what the recommendation for excess hair is for people with pcos? Anyone have any ideas or experiences? I would really appreciate it.

Ugh. The dreaded stache. I have been fortunate to not have any excessive hair growth {yet} with my PCOS. I do, however, have a handful of black hair that grows on either side of my lip, giving me my own stache. I tend to bleach it. They have over the counter bleach specifically for facial hair like this…not sure how easy it would be for you to get it in Kuwait? I have waxed before but my skin is so sensitive it couldn’t handle it. I even have a reaction getting my eyebrows waxed :/

The good news is its nothing to be embarassed about. A girl in my office used to be an aesthetician and she waxes the girls in the office every couple of weeks. Lots of the women in my office have their stache waxed off, and none of them have the hormone problems I have!

    Good luck!

My situation is exactly like yours! I’ve thought about bleach but was scared to use it since I’ve never done it before but ill take a look at it. Luckily so far I’m the only one noticing the changes (I hope!). Thanks for all the advice ❤
